Making a Difference magazine has a New Home!

MAD_Website_Home_Page_new2021.pngThe Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) is excited to announce the launch of a dynamic new website for Making a Difference, its quarterly magazine focused on developmental disabilities!

The new interactive website features better navigation with articles of interest by topic; a dedicated page for the current issue that displays all the great articles; more videos, calendar of events and more!

And, with accessibility always at top of mind, the website is designed to be accessible to all who use assistive technology. The magazine will continue to be available in Large Print, Audio and English and Spanish PDFs.

GCDD's Winter edition of the Making a Difference quarterly news magazine is getting out the advocacy! This issue welcomes the new session of the Georgia General Assembly, where GCDD highlights its legislative priorities for 2021. And, GCDD is excited to kick off the 2021 Advocacy Days, which have gone virtual!

The magazine also features an in-depth What's Happening in Washington, highlighting new bills, a new Congress, COVID-19 relief and what all of it means for people with disabilities. Dr. Erin Vinoski-Thomas, PhD, discusses the impact of COVID-19 on the disability community in Expert Update, and lots more.
