Disability Day 2012

Disability Day is an annual rally sponsored by GCDD on the steps of the State Capitol each year to promote access, opportunity and meaningful community living for Georgians with disabilities and their families. Advocates from across the State, elected officials, State legislators and Georgia citizens with and without disabilities gather together to make their voices heard. Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in the 14th Annual Disability Day on February 16, 2012.

Changes in Disability Day Registration:

Due to the tremendous success and the continued growth of Disability Day, we find it necessary to make a few changes to the registration process.  We have decided to eliminate the registration table, thus omitting the “Check in” process usually held on the day of the event.  Instead, t-shirt and lunch distribution will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.

Online and phone reservation begins:  January 1, 2012-February 9, 2012

To register please go to:

http://bit.ly/gL3elb or dial 404-656-6593

We’ll be gathering signatures in support of the Children’s Freedom Initiative declaration at Disability Day.  Come and be sure to sign up! View the Children’s Freedom Initiative declaration that will be signed at Disability Day 2012.
