GCDD Real People Close-Up: Lucy & Narae

GCDD presents Real People Close-Up, an occasional series of stories from people with developmental disabilities and their families.

GCDD Real People Close-Up is a collaboration with the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities, StoryCorps and the Georgia Radio Reading Service (GaRRS).

Real People Close-Up is produced by the Georgia Council On Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) in collaboration with StoryCorps and the Georgia Radio Reading Service-GaRRS.

GCDD promotes storytelling as a way of learning, supporting, sharing and building community. To submit your story as a Real People Close-Up, email GCDD Public Information Director, Valerie Meadows Suber at ; Subject line: Real People. Include your email, phone and mailing address, your name and name of story principals and a story synopsis of no more than 100 words. Selected story participants will be asked to schedule their own StoryCorp recording session, submit a copy of the StoryCorp CD recording to GCDD and sign a release form granting permission to production rights to GCDD.
